No screen time, no batteries and they have fun making new and different things. Plus different generations and genders can sit down and play with these at the same time. I got this for my youngest for his second birthday and he loved it! Actually, we all love it. I also have a 3 1/2 and 8 year old, and we all were able to draw on it and enjoy it for hours.
